| After completing her Doctorate of Optometry at SUNY College of Optometry, Dr. Mackenzie honed her skills through a rigorous ocular disease residency at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Hospital. Her clinical training included work alongside ophthalmology at John Hopkins Hospital, giving her a strong foundation in managing complex eye diseases. Dr. Mackenzie's early career in Pennsylvania involved treating a diverse range of conditions, from glaucoma to advanced cataract surgeries. Returning to her California roots, Dr. Mackenzie is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in Solano County. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a staunch advocate for patient education, aiming to enhance the eye care experience from start to finish. Dr. Mackenzie enjoys the sunny Bay Area life, continually advancing her expertise to improve the vision and lives of her patients. |
